Head start is equipped to the highest standard and staffed by a team of trained professionals. Our Nursery Managers and Deputy Managers are extremely well qualified and experienced in childcare encompassing health, first aid, communication skills, education and child development.

Our Nursery Nurses are also fully qualified to NNEB (or equivalent) standards and our Assistants are all experienced in childcare and day nursery activities.

The Staffing ratios are generally greater than those laid down by statutory requirements and to ensure continuity of relationships your child will be cared for by a key-worker team, responsible for all aspects of their development – physical, intellectual, emotional and social.

Students on placement at the Nursery are not included in staffing ratios and are not left alone in positions of responsibility.
